Inscribed first hardcover edition of Clark's first book, an unstinting look at the "outlaw life" (speed, guns, teen sex, domestic violence) as led by Clark and his friends throughout the 1960s and 70s, in Oklahoma, New York, and elsewhere. Illustrated with black-and-white plates; with a brief introductory statement by Clark. This second edition was bound from unused sheets from the 1971 first edition, issued as a paperback. Inscribed by Clark in black marker to the title page: "To Louise – Larry Clark / 1985." Unclipped dust jacket with moderate rubbing, creasing, and edgewear, with a large closed tear to top edge and cellotape repair to verso. About very good. Uncommon inscribed in this edition.
