"Photography is jazz for the eye." Collection of black-and-white photos of Chet Baker in his early glory by American photographer William Claxton. Chronicling Baker’s rise to fame, the photos collected here were captured between 1952 and 1957 during performances, publicity shoots, recording sessions, and more. Introduction by French photo editor and art critic Christian Cajoulle. No dust jacket, as issued. Corners lightly bumped. Near fine. Item #13564
