Four consecutive issues of the influential Feminist Bookstore News, the principal trade publication of feminist bookstores and women-in-print movements in the US. Founded by Carol Seajay following the 1976 National Women in Print Conference, the publication began as a mimeographed newsletter that developed into a trade magazine. It ran until 2000, producing 134 issues total. Serving as an information network for feminist booksellers, publishers, writers, and readers, issues contained extensive book reviews and reading lists with publishing news, interviews, letters, classifieds, ads, and reports from feminist bookstores across the country. Published between 1989 and 1990, these four issues contain articles on sexual discrimination in publishing, university presses, Canadian periodicals, and San Jose-based women's bookstore Sisterspirit, alongside interviews conducted by Seajay with poet and publisher Judy Grahn and Argentine feminist bookseller Susana Sommer of SAGA: Librería de la Mujer.
