Issue 18 of Peter Pakesch and Johannes von Schlebrügge's Viennese limited edition art periodical Fama & Fortune Bulletin, devoted to Chicago-born artist Christopher Wool’s Incident on 9th Street. Wool came to prominence in the 1980s for his Neo-Pop, graffiti-like paintings that incorporated stamped, stenciled, or screen-printed patterns or words, though his later works are made with a variety of gestures and mediums. This artist-designed issue contains Wool’s photographic sequence documenting the aftermath of a fire in his studio that was originally created for insurance documentation. It was subsequently developed into a suite of gelatin-silver prints presented at Luhring Augustine in New York in 1997. Illustrated with black-and-white plates. Fine. Item #13414
