Exhibition catalog published in conjunction with a show of photos of work by Japanese artist Yoko Ono held at Galeria 56, in Budapest. The photos document Onos show of instruction-based works, originally held at the AG Gallery in New York in 1961. The photos, by AG founder George Maciunas, capture early paintings and drawings meant to be stepped on, viewed in darkness, altered by smoke or burning, or otherwise "completed" through the viewers action. The solo exhibition (mounted five years before she met John Lennon), was her first, and aided in establishing the conceptual and participatory methods that would define Onos career.
