A pioneering journalist, Davis was a regular reporter for the Times and Washington Post, and perhaps best known for his Vietnam War novel Coming Home (1972) and his national bestseller Black Life in Corporate America (1982). Drawing from a series of interviews Davis conducted between 1973 and '76, Love, Black Love comprises eighteen love stories that capture Black men and women’s thoughts on romance, family, and relationships.
