First edition of American photographer Collier Schorr’s scarce artist’s book published by MoMA PS1. Associated with the New York art world of the late 1980s and early 90s, Schorr developed a practice at the intersection of postmodern photography, queer portraiture, and the fashion industry, contributing to major magazines such as Purple, Dazed, and Frieze. Starring Australian supermodel Jordan Barrett, the publication draws on Schorr’s enduring interest in youth, masculinity, and photographic self-invention with images previously published in i-D and Interview. The project was part of the museum’s "Greater New York" series, a recurring exhibition begun in 2000 that surveys artists connected to the New York metropolitan area and reflects the evolving conditions of the art world.
