The 19-show trek across the US and Canada was infamously compromised by controversies (primarily Lennon’s comment in an interview that the band was "more popular than Jesus") and security threats stemming from Beatlemania, leading to the executive decision to retire from live performances thereafter. This official souvenir program contains photos of each member by Robert Whitaker, the band’s unofficial photographer in the 1960s, notably the only person to capture intimate photos of The Beatles on flights and in their hotel rooms.
