1960s pulp paperback by prolific sleaze and mystery writer Harry Whittington under the pseudonym John Dexter, about a woman named Joanna who goes searching the jungles of Vietnam for her missing father and becomes entangled in varied sexual encounters. Dubbed the "King of Pulp Originals," Whittington penned over 150 novels from 1946 to 1984 under a variety of pseudonyms. Phenix was a subsidiary of sleaze emperor William Hamling’s Greenleaf Classics, one of the biggest pulp publishers of the 1960s and early 70s.
