Curated by American art historian Riva Castleman, the exhibition showcased over fifty works by Jim Dine, David Hockney, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist, and Frank Stella, all known for their pioneering work in the medium during the 1980s. This study includes an introduction by Castleman ("What characterizes the prints made during the 1980s by these artists is their confidence…the artists attained, whatever the cost in time and materials, solutions to their own aspirations"), dozens of color and black-and-white plates, an exhibition checklist, and bios.
