Established by Iwan Wirth, Manuela Wirth, and Ursula Hauser in 1992, the gallery initially operated in temporary spaces, including Wirth’s apartment, before opening a dedicated space in Zurich’s converted Löwenbräu Brewery building in '96. This catalog includes an introduction by Wirth, along with reproductions documenting the interiors and installation views, with exhibited artists including Sigmar Polke, Gerhard Richter, Francis Picabia, Agnes Martin, Jean Arp, Joseph Beuys, Max Ernst, and Paul Klee, among other modern art giants.
