Issue number 8 of MAO Mag, the short-lived publication by fashion gurus Mauricio and Roger Padilha. The Padilha brothers started their fashion PR agency in 1998 and launched the careers of designers such as Jason Wu, Peter Som, The Blonds, Sally Lapointe and Fausto Puglisi. The glossy magazine was published bi-annually from 2003-08 to coincide with New York Fashion Week and covered industry professionals and pop culture icons, with this issue featuring a cover by psychedelic pop artist Peter Max. It also includes interviews with and/or profiles on Julie Newmar, Kembra Pfahler, Ann Magnuson, Brigid Berlin, Kenny Scharf, Joey Arias, Francois Nars, Norma Kamali, and others.
