Signed first edition of Toronto-born photographer Petra Collins’s uncanny artist’s book. Published as the sixth issue of cult erotic magazine Baron, Miért vagy te, ha lehetsz én Is (Hungraian for "Why be you, when you can be me?") features Collins turning the camera on herself. Inspired by her childhood home, her mother's Hungarian heritage, the suburbs of Toronto, and a Canadian TV commercial for a surreal makeup store (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRLtdqxHO5g), the volume features her sister, Anna Collins, in silicon casts of her own face and body created by LA artist Sarah Sitkin. In an interview in 2023, Collins described the project as "an exorcism" and a means of birthing a new aesthetic (it was created during a period when her style had effectively been ripped off by Sam Levinson of the HBO Max show Euphoria).
