Rising to prominence for her intimate portraits of adolescents and teenage girls, Collins is best known for her use of the "female gaze," along with her use of natural light, a pastel palette, soft focus, and lack of retouching. Published in conjunction with her debut solo show at Capricious 88, this collection comprises photos she took over the course of six years, from ages 15 to 21, inspired by pop-culture, girl talk, and Rihanna.
