A prominent figure in the English wine trade, Simon authored over one hundred books during his lifetime while additionally spending several decades as a leading champagne distributor in London and president of the Wine & Food Society. Originally published in 1953 to commemorate the donation of his personal library–amassed over half a century–to the society, this bibliography comprises 1,644 entries, with an index, divided under 51 subjects, including entries on drunkenness and teetotalism, the art of good living, ice, pineapples, servants and service, and more.
