The Etchings of Lucian Freud. A Catalogue Raisonne 1946-1995
London: Marlborough Graphics, 1995. 1st Edition. Quarto, publisher's gray cloth, spine stamped in dark gray, original illustrated dust jacket.
Catalog published in conjunction with an exhibit of British figurative painting master Lucian Freud’s etchings held at Marlborough in London and Galleria Ceribelli in Bergamo in 1995. Demonstrating his skill as a master draftsman, the exhibit presented a generous selection of prints up to 1995. Illustrated with 51 black-and-white plates; with text by print curator Craig Hartley and bibliography. Unclipped dust jacket with approx. 2" closed tear to top edge of lower panel, and minor soiling.
