An exploration of social class in the US, the series consists of intimate glimpses into fetes attended by wealthy Manhattanites at clubs, galleries, and upper crust venues alongside parties hosted by rural Pennsylvanians. Influenced by Fink’s leftist roots and working class upbringing, the series was initially presented at the MoMA in 1979 and garnered critical acclaim. Illustrated with black-and-white plates; with an introduction by Fink. Unclipped dust jacket with small closed tear to top edge of upper panel and light edgewear. Near fine. Item #6827
