Lincoln, MA: Penmaen Press, 1975. 1st Edition. Octavo, publisher's cream cardstock wraps, original attached illustrated overwraps, french flaps.
First edition of poet, filmmaker, and key Warhol associate Gerard Malanga’s 1975 collection. While principally known as Andy Warhol’s "most important associate" during the Factory years, Malanga spent the majority of his career working extensively with his own photography and film, and writing poetry. Comprising 24 minimalist verses, Rosebud was his fifth volume of poetry. Unnumbered out-of-series copy from a total edition of 1000 copies. Designed, with a cover illustration, by American artist and Penmaen Press founder Michael McCurdy. Small tears to wraps at head of spine, light soiling. Very good. Item #6377
