Bush-Con '84: The First Annual Kate Bush Fan Convention. [Poster]

Winnipeg, Canada: Break-Through, 1984. Small photo-illustrated poster (measures 17.75" x 24.75").

Promotional poster for the first annual Canadian Kate Bush fan convention held at the Winnipeg Art Gallery in 1984. The first female solo artist to achieve a number one self-penned hit single with "Wuthering Heights," the unconventional popstar has since become one of the most celebrated singer-songwriters of all time. Established by self-described "Love Hounds" T.R. and Dale Somerville, who edited the now-defunct Bush fanzine Breakthrough, the event drew around 100 fans, with Bush recording a message for the event’s attendees (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USaklZ1bODk). Illustrated with color photos. Moderate edgewear and chipping. Very good. Uncommon. Item #6231
