Bronx: Bim Bam Boom Productions, 1971. 1st Edition. Quarto, publisher's stapled black-and-white photo-illustrated wraps.
Third issue (of 13 total) of 1970s fanzine Bim Bam Boom, devoted to the rhythm & blues and do-wop music of the 50s and early 60s, with articles, discographies, and photos of such acts as The Scarlets and Five Satins, The Del Satins, The Avons, The Charts, and The Colts: "It was the summer of 1955 about three o'clock in the morning when four college boys held an audience of truck drivers, waitresses and a few weary travellers spellbound at a drive-in diner while they filled the air with their golden harmony." Illustrated throughout with black-and-white photos, and ads for countless now-defunct record shops and mail order sources for rare vinyl. Subscriber's address in ink and cancelled stamp to rear wrap, some marginal soiling, else fine. A time capsule inside a time capsule. Item #552
