The Hunger. [Film Poster]

Beverly Hills: MGM/UA Entertainment Co, 1983. One-sheet color illustrated poster (measures 27" x 41").

One-sheet movie poster promoting the 1983 release of Tony Scott’s supernatural horror film, about the love triangle between a research scientist Susan Sarandon and dream vampire couple Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie. While the film received less than generous reviews following its Cannes premiere (Roger Ebert called it "an agonizingly bad vampire movie"), it has since acquired enduring cult status, and continues to be vaunted for Bowie’s affecting performance, as well as for its notorious lesbian seduction scene between Sarandon and Deneuve. Sarandon later said, "You wouldn't have to get drunk to bed Catherine Deneuve, I don't care what your sexual history to that point had been." Issued as number 830059. Moderate creasing. Very good.
