New York: Dead Duke Books, 1979. Signed Limited Edition. Quarto, publisher's stapled illustrated wraps.

"Where is the White Winter Goddess? / putting on her panty hose? / her icy bangles? / her winter pearls / & glitter?" Collaboration by New York poets Eileen Myles and Anne Waldman, signed by both writers and cover designer Steve Levine on the colophon. This subtly erotic series of correspondence poems was composed for a winter solstice poetry reading on December 22, 1978, held at ZU, a short-lived poetry space located on West 24th Street. Written back and forth by mail in New York, Boston, Cherry Valley, San Francisco, and Florida, this was one of the few joint projects by women of the second generation of the New York School. Letter "H" of 26 copies signed by the contributors, from a total edition of 350. Published by Dead Duke Books (now known as Crony Books), a small press run by writer Greg Masters out of "The Poet's Building" (the one-time residence of Ginsberg, Orlovsky, Arthur Russell, and others) located on 437 East 12th Street. Some toning and soiling to wraps, else fine. Item #4608
