New York: Coward, McCann & Geoghegan, 1973. 1st Edition. Folio, publisher's red stiff paper wraps.
A "Feminist Whole Earth Catalog" published with the aim of strengthening a national feminist network and raising awareness of different feminist movements. The project started at Barnard College Women’s Center, where Grimstad was assigned to put together a bibliography of women's studies; she decided to take the research beyond a scholarly scope and include contemporary efforts and activities of women's groups. She enlisted the help of Rennie, and they soon quit their jobs and set out on a two-month cross-country roadtrip to document feminist bookstores, health centers, collectives, art schools, galleries, publishing ventures, and self-help divorce co-ops. Age-toning to text; moderate creasing, rubbing and edgewear to wraps, with half-dollar-sized abrasion to rear wrap. Very good. Item #2405
